It's a shame, since the idea behind the states was actually a pretty cool idea: "people are terrible and they'll elect a terrible government that will try and take over everything, so let's limit it's power and give it to to the people instead"
but it's just oversight on your voting system (first-past-the-post instead of preferential) that's caused the problems. All you need is a meme.

After unboxing, I updated from stock directly to 3.5 and the touch screen stopped working. On factory firmware it worked perfectly. I'm heading home myself soon and have access to ADB again too
