I was reading the last newspaper of the year and saw that there was a guide to reading and borrowing ebooks... in the Economy section

It means the ebook business is big enough to interest the moneychangers.
A further sign of industry maturity, in case anybody doubted that (in most places) ebooks are a mainstream *business* and not just for hobbyists and enthusiasts. (Been that way for two-plus years in NorthAm.) ebook and reader sales each tally up in the billions. Amazon alone looks to have tallied up something between USD $500million and a billion-plus since launching the Kindle FIRE. Big. Bucks. At. Stake. |
