Audible is updating audiobooks to have ‘real’ chapter titles
For the longest time, all one would see when looking at the chapter list/navigator were generic ‘Chapter 1’, ‘Chapter 2’ for each segment of the audiobook. However, a number of titles now have more functional chapter list, showing chapter names mirroring the book, sections, etc. Many Great Courses titles label lectures with appropriate descriptions. The currently playing chapter name displays in the player screen, in lock screen player, etc.
If an audiobook was downloaded more than a month or two ago, it needs to be downloaded again to see the new, improved, chapter titles. Of course many books do not have descriptive chapter names and use generic ‘Chapter 1’, ‘Chapter 2’ etc. |
