Auto populate custom columns on import.

Usually when I import a file to calibre (as opposed to via plugin, like fanficfare) it's something I haven't read, and is a completed work. This I mark with a no in my #read column, and a yes in the #status column. Is there a way to tell calibre these should be the default? Will it futz up Fanficfare's use of those columns? Should I get the corned beef or pastrami?

Custom columns are not part of the ADD books interface.

I use a date for #read. Blank (#read:false) means not read with no need to set anything on import

Using Tri-state mode for T/F also allows similar usage: blank means no determination.
